Conflagration (n) : A raging, consuming fire

Conflagration 2009 wil be held from May 28 - May 31, 2009 at Summer's Mill in Belton, Texas .

On behalf of the Conflagration team and myself, I welcome you to our website and hope you find what you need to make a decision about your participaton with us in Conflagration.

The name "Conflagration" was dropped into my heart five years ago as we were discussing a dream of bringing people together from the business sector, those who labor in the arts and all other fields. The outcome being to encourage, equip, and support these individuals as they see the Kingdom of God established in each of their arenas as it is in the whole earth. It had been also in my heart to do this in a setting where relationship with the Father and others could be of mutual benefit and growth for all. When I looked up the definition of the word Conflagration and saw that it means "a great and consuming fire" which is the true nature of our Father, I felt that it was time to begin.

So we did begin our first Conflagration gathering in 2005. Since that time, we have been priveleged to host four Conflagration events and are preparing for the fifth, with discussions of hosting Conflagration in other states. During these years we have had the privelege of receiving many of you from all arenas of life, as well as those of you who labor in other countries. Each time it has been life changing for myself and for others, in understanding a deeper relationship with the Father.

Last year our theme movie for the event was the "Martian Child". As we focused on the process of adoption and restoration for all of us back to the Father through the Lord Jesus Christ, I beleive at the close of our time together there was a release more than we have ever experienced for His purposes to be accomplished in the earth. I trust this time will be an open door for even greater expressions of His love and purposes.

Speaking for the team, I want you to know we value each of you and your contribution highly, and only seek you to be released for God's purposes in the purest sense. It has always been our desire that this time would be relational and intimate, so we don't seek a crowd, but invite you to consider your participation.

We try to keep the cost for expenses only and many have attended in the past through the generosity of others. If it would be in your heart to contribute toward the cost of Conflagration, of for scholarships, or toward sowing into the life and ministry of Sam Soleyn, then you may do so at Conflagration or through this website.
